What we collect, and why
Last updated 21 September 2026
The short version
This site has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. The only personal information we collect is what you type into the contact form, and we use it solely to answer you.
What the contact form collects
- Your name and email address, so we can reply.
- Your company name, if you give it.
- Your message.
- The IP address the message was sent from, which we keep briefly to stop the form being abused by spam.
Why we may keep it
We keep submissions so that an enquiry is not lost if an email fails to arrive, and so we have a record of what was discussed during a project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in our own database, on a server we control, hosted in South Africa. Only Zaspys has access. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Where an enquiry leads to work, the correspondence is kept for as long as we have a business relationship, plus the period required by tax and company law.
Cookies
We set no cookies. Your choice of dark or light theme is remembered in your own browser's local storage and never reaches our servers.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request through the contact form and we will action it within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
